It is not true. Evidently, going after Dr. Hansen for the $1.2 million he earned personally besides is $180K/yr salary at NASA is inquisition like witch hunt and harassment (http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/8169053/right_wing_ati_attempts_to_character.html). I would be interested to know however, how Dr. Hansen spends his money while maintaining low carbon footprint.
