Specific citations? Verbatim quotes in-context? Neither given? Then claims have little weight, eh? \scriptstyle\rule[2.25ex]{0.01pt}{0.01pt}\,\boldsymbol{\overset{\scriptstyle\circ\wedge\circ}{\smile}\,\heartsuit\,{\displaystyle\text{\bfseries!!!}}\,\heartsuit\,\overset{\scriptstyle\circ\wedge\circ}{\smile}}\ \rule[-0.25ex]{0.01pt}{0.01pt}

Why can’t you put the link to the post, Don Don?

Go for it.

Here’s one:

http://tamino.wordpress.com/2011/02/26/mathturbation/

The title is interesting, don’t you think?

Sheds an interesting light on an “uncivil welcomes”.

Speaking of which:

> [Y]ou play the part of the wounded, when I only criticized your ideas (and with very good reason) but you are the one who’s decided to make it personal. Your silly remark about “uncivil welcome” and “not how science is normally conducted” completes your delusion of martyrdom.

is self-contradictory.

Tamino’s peanut gallery also shows what happens when people let their prejudices get over their reading.

Worse, Tamino remains convinced that Vaughan tried to explain away AGW with periodicity.

Tamino is a blogger with an attitude.

Here’s the link of the comment Don Don just copy-pasted:

Notice the date: February 26, 2011 at 1:50 am

***

Now, readers can find other comments by Vaughan Pratt in that thread.

It’s not difficult to see that Tamino became offensive after being quite defensive.

I bet the smackdown that tamino put on you, way back on February 26, 2011 still smarts. Don’t it, doc? What year is it now, doc? I will help you, 2013. It’s a month shy of two years later and you are still getting slapped around over this BS. Your crackpot DIY climate science quasi-sawtooth is toothless. You can no longer pretend it’s a work in progress. It ain’t gonna happen. You can’t publish this foolishness. Get over it.

LOL … the recent references (2010) of my post nicely answer many of the questions raised in your old reference (2001). It’s good when scientific advances yield solid common-sense answers to climate-skeptic concerns, eh DocMartyn? \scriptstyle\rule[2.25ex]{0.01pt}{0.01pt}\,\boldsymbol{\overset{\scriptstyle\circ\wedge\circ}{\smile}\,\heartsuit\,{\displaystyle\text{\bfseries!!!}}\,\heartsuit\,\overset{\scriptstyle\circ\wedge\circ}{\smile}}\ \rule[-0.25ex]{0.01pt}{0.01pt}

We now see that Don Don is getting to the essence of his abuse.

Could it be shortened to a tweet?

You couldn’t keep it. Actually began finally losing it when the Federal Reserve came into being and you became slave labour to the banking cartel which continues to organise the government to perpetuate its fractional reserve banking fraud, organise its wars to facilitate its industrial imperialism and so much more, but as already said, you don’t even know what it was you’ve lost because you’ve been re-educated to think you live in a democracy..

Obama it seems studied the Constitution and is an expert..

“According to Politico.com, in that interview, Obama – “reflecting on the Warren Court’s successes and failures in helping to usher-in civil rights – said, ‘I think where it succeeded was to vest formal rights in previously dispossessed peoples.’ ”

He has it backward. The Creator already endowed African-American people with these rights, which is precisely the argument powerfully made by Martin Luther King Jr.

Any rights that are “vested” in people by other people may be removed by the same or future people. Endowed rights are “unalienable” and what America did was to finally recognize those rights.”

We’re all screwed by the banking cartel who create money out of nothing and can fund the egomanic/psychopathic/sociopathic idiocies which drive its members in a modern world of innovation putting new means at their disposal which past mass murderers on the world stage could only dream of.

Take away their control of money and it all collapses..?

Looking in Google Scholar for ‘global temperature proxy’ seems to mostly find papers written or co-written by Dr. Michael Mann, or Dr. James Hansen? You want to point me at such work done by other researchers who are not MWP deniers?

Compare and contrast.

This trivial and boring tweet:

> If you think your model is so good, publish it in the peer-reviewed literature.

This quasi-limerick:

> Your crackpot DIY quasi-sawtooth is toothless. It’s work in regress. You can’t publish such foolishness.

Still 36 characters left to abuse Vaughan himself.

It also needs some mutts. Plz add some mutts.

Hansen has done more to decimate crow populations than anyone or anything, ever.

It is amazing he can still choke them down?

By all means willard spend time with the young ones.
I suppose I can just say that I misunderstood Eli and leave it at that.
Not that anything turns on it. Plus the niners are in the super bowl so charity abounds.

Can I drop SHAP and TOBS too? Pretty please?

#####################

well. SHAP consists of adjusting stations if they move from a mountain top ( cold) to a valley ( warm). Since we use raw data we dont do SHAP. a station that moves is….. a different station.

TOBS? well if you change the time of observation you need to account for that. two ways. A) empirical recalibration. B) treat it as a new station.

Or you can just use daily data. or you can just use hourly stations.

answer doesnt change.
